The name is a playful badge of obsession — being a “slut for footbag” just means you love the game so much you can’t get enough. It’s not aimed at any gender or group. We play more, practice more, and love the game more. That’s it.

It’s our signature fill: a coarse, chunky-grain sand instead of a fine powder sand. Bigger grains give the bag more texture and a satisfying weight that molds to your foot on contact — which means stickier stalls, better control, and less sand migration through the seams over time.

Extremely. The 8-panel shape and ~60 g sand fill is the classic “learn on this” setup — easy to control, forgiving to catch, and great for kicking in a circle. It’ll also grow with you as you start hitting stalls and tricks.

Both. Sand-filled 8-panels are the great all-arounders: round enough for consistent passes, dead enough to stick stalls. If you only own one footbag, this is the one to own.

Every bag targets 60 g and lands between 58–62 g. Because each one is hand-filled with real sand, there’s slight natural variation — that’s handmade character, not a flaw.

Not with normal play. Our bags are hand-stitched with tight seams, and coarse grains are far less escape-prone than powder-fine sand. Avoid dragging the bag on pavement (see Care for Your Bag) and your seams will stay strong.

With normal play and basic care, years. The fastest way to kill any footbag is scraping it off asphalt with your shoe — don’t do that and you’re golden.
